I’ve been drawing at weddings for over 30 years and still love every minute! Each caricature takes around 3 to 5 minutes and is drawn in black and white on A3 paper. I can draw singles, couples or small groups of up to five people on one page, which makes it perfect for families, friends or workmates who want to be captured together.
Every drawing is different, and that’s the fun of it. I’ve drawn grandparents holding their cocktails, best men trying to look serious, and bridesmaids laughing so much they cry. Whether it’s before the meal, during the drinks reception or in the middle of the evening do, I keep people smiling and help fill those little gaps in the day where guests are milling about.

I arrive with my easel, lights and a stack of crisp paper, ready to capture your guests in full party mode. All I need is a small space to set up and a crowd that is up for a laugh. Within minutes, people start to gather. They watch, giggle, point and queue for their turn. Before long, the caricature corner becomes one of the highlights of the day.
Guests love watching the drawings come to life. There is always laughter, a few mock arguments about who looks funniest and plenty of phones out capturing the moment. It’s relaxed, sociable and completely different from the usual wedding entertainment
I’m not just there to draw. I bring energy and personality to your day, chatting with guests as I sketch and keeping the mood light and fun. I blend in naturally with the flow of your evening, working between speeches, dancing or drinks so nothing feels forced or staged.
By the end of the night, your guests will be comparing caricatures, posing for photos and showing off their portraits like trophies. It gives them something to talk about, something to share and something to take home as a genuine memory of your wedding.
I draw in around three-to-five minutes per person. This keeps the queue moving and gives you a steady stream of happy guests throughout the booking. Over two or three hours, there is time for a good mix of family, friends and evening guests to get involved.
I work quickly without rushing anyone. Guests can watch over my shoulder, chat with each other and enjoy the reactions. It becomes its own little corner of fun within the wider celebration.
If you are planning a bigger wedding or you want every guest to have a chance, you can book longer sessions or add extra time on the night if things are flowing well.

This is where I often become a small magnet in the corner. The dance floor is bouncing, the DJ is playing the big tracks and guests head my way for a breather and a laugh.
