I am Mark Dickson, known as Beefy, a live caricaturist based in Nottingham. I draw at weddings, parties and corporate events all over the UK, bringing relaxed entertainment and personalised keepsakes to your guests.
For more than 30 years I have been the person in the corner with the sketchbook, turning guests into cartoons and starting conversations wherever I go.
My caricature journey began in 1995 in Kavos in Corfu, drawing holidaymakers on warm evenings by the sea. It was trial by fire. Busy bars, groups of friends, people from all over the world, and only a few minutes to capture each face.
From there, things grew. I have:

That early experience taught me how to work fast, keep people at ease and read a room. Those skills are at the heart of what I bring to weddings, parties and corporate events today.

I live in Nottingham with my wife Katie and our two boys, Sonny and Louis. Most of my work is in the East Midlands and surrounding areas, although I regularly travel further afield for weddings, parties and corporate bookings.
Wherever your event is, I bring the same mix of experience, humour and professionalism that I first started shaping back in Kavos in 1995.
